The Presto Market chain of retail outlets was introduced by Superpharm in 2016 in response to the emergence of a new genre of convenience retail outlets with a focus on the “grab n go” food trade.
Gillespie and Partners extended their relationship with the client to design the prototype branch with a a branded kit of parts, inclusive of a palette of colour and building materials, joinery details and interior layout.
While only 2 outlets have been constructed to date, G+P continues to work with their Client to refine the original prototype to keep abreast of prevailing retail trends and customer expectations.
The implementation of interior upgrades mandates that the business operations remain uninterrupted. Therefore, G+P is usually called upon to consider this business need in their design proposals.
